Transcriber

Please read the following description and the important notes completely before installing the application.

What is this software?

Transcriber is a software for manual and automatic transcribing of audio files. text editor and audio player are on the same window, and there are many capabilities (like: auto rewind, text-to-speech, speech-to-text, audio-text linking, ...) to help manual transcribing of (speech) audio file as easy as possible.

Who is this software for?

This software is appropriate for students, interviewers, qualitative researchers and people who want to transcribe (write out from speech, interviews …) recorded audios.

Features:

This utility makes manually transcribing of recorded audio files as easy as possible.

Using this software you can:

- record audio files (of speech)

- listen to the audio and transcribe it in same window

- auto rewind the audio file and replay it

- manual voice typing

- automatic transcribing of audio files to text (only if your device supports it and is connected to to a high speed internet service)

- narrate the Transcribed text (text-to-speech)

- link parts of the audio file and the transcribed text

- size, color, and highlight transcribed texts; make text bold, italic, ...

Applications:

- Students may record their teacher's speech at class, write it later using Transcriber and create pamphlets in the PDF or HTML file formats with audio links (click the link & play teacher speech for linked text)

- PhD student and qualitative researcher may record interviews and transcribe it later using Transcriber, create audio links and export the product to other post processing applications like Atlas.ti, Maxqda, Nvivo & …

- Translators May use Transcriber to Listen and (manually) translate recorded speech on the same window

File Formats:

The transcribed text can be exported to plain text, PDF, RTF, HTML, SYN (Atlas.ti synchronization), NVivo Transcripts and F4 transcription.

Transcriber Application is a free application, but if you want to export more than 15 audio link to other file formats, or if you want to continue to use automatic transcribing of audio files to text (the first 5000 words of automatic transcribing is free for the application test), install Transcriber key.

Important notes:

1- The automatic conversion of the speech audio file to text, is dependent to the following requirements and your device may not support it:

- the quality of the speakers & voice sensors of the device,

- the quality of the audio file and

- the speed & the stability of the device internet connection,

2- Automatic transcribing of the first 5000 words is free for you to test the application, if the test is successful you need to install a Transcriber key to continue to use automatic transcription. if the test is not successful (because the limitations of your device), installing the Transcriber key does not make any change. Please install the Transcriber key only if the test period was successful and you sure the device supports it.

Apa software ini?

 Transcriber adalah perangkat lunak untuk transkrip manual dan otomatis file audio. teks editor dan pemutar audio pada jendela yang sama, dan ada banyak kemampuan (seperti: auto rewind, text-to-speech, pidato-ke-teks, audio-teks linking, ...) untuk membantu transkrip manual (speech file) audio yang semudah mungkin.

Siapa software ini untuk?

  Perangkat lunak ini cocok untuk siswa, pewawancara, peneliti kualitatif dan orang-orang yang ingin menuliskan (menulis dari pidato, wawancara ...) audio yang direkam.

  Utilitas ini membuat manual menyalin file rekaman audio semudah mungkin.

Menggunakan perangkat lunak ini Anda dapat:

- file rekaman audio (pidato)

- mendengarkan audio dan menuliskan dalam jendela yang sama

- auto rewind file audio dan memutar ulang

- suara mengetik panduan

- transkrip otomatis file audio ke teks (hanya jika perangkat Anda mendukung dan terhubung ke ke layanan internet berkecepatan tinggi)

- menceritakan teks Ditranskripsi (text-to-speech)

- Link bagian dari file audio dan teks ditranskrip

- ukuran, warna, dan sorot ditranskripsi teks; membuat teks tebal, miring, ...

Aplikasi:

- Siswa dapat merekam pembicaraan guru mereka di kelas, menulis nanti menggunakan Transcriber dan menciptakan pamflet di PDF atau HTML format file dengan link audio (klik link & bermain pidato guru untuk teks terkait)

- mahasiswa PhD dan penelitian kualitatif dapat merekam wawancara dan menuliskan nanti menggunakan Transcriber, membuat link audio dan mengekspor produk ke aplikasi pengolahan pasca lain seperti ATLAS.ti, Maxqda, NVivo & ...

- Penerjemah Dapat menggunakan Transcriber Mendengarkan dan (manual) menerjemahkan pidato direkam pada jendela yang sama

Format File:

  teks ditranskripsi dapat diekspor ke teks biasa, PDF, RTF, HTML, SYN (ATLAS.ti sinkronisasi), NVivo Transkrip dan F4 transkripsi.

Aplikasi Transcriber adalah aplikasi gratis, tetapi jika Anda ingin mengekspor lebih dari 15 audio link ke format file lain, atau jika Anda ingin terus menggunakan transkrip otomatis file audio ke teks (pertama 5000 kata-kata transkrip otomatis gratis untuk uji aplikasi), menginstal tombol Transcriber.

Catatan penting:

1- konversi otomatis dari file pidato audio ke teks, tergantung dengan persyaratan berikut dan perangkat Anda mungkin tidak mendukung itu:

     - kualitas speaker & sensor suara perangkat,

     - kualitas file audio dan

     - kecepatan & kestabilan koneksi perangkat internet,

2- transkrip otomatis pertama 5000 kata bebas bagi Anda untuk menguji aplikasi, jika tes ini berhasil Anda perlu menginstal kunci Transcriber untuk terus menggunakan transkripsi otomatis. jika tes tidak berhasil (karena keterbatasan perangkat Anda), memasang kunci Transcriber tidak membuat perubahan apapun. Silahkan install kunci Transcriber hanya jika periode pengujian berhasil dan Anda yakin perangkat mendukungnya.
